On January 13, 2017, Antonio Mello of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Angela; two sons, Gabriel (Lisa) and Gianni (Karen); four grandchildren, Battista, Mateo, Zachery and Isabella; two brothers, Father Gianni and Georgio (Orsolina); sister, Angela; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Italy. Thank you to the staff of the Sturgeon Community Hospital and the Blue Spruce Medical Centre for their care and compassion, all of whom provided exceptional care to Antonio. Mass of the Resurrection Tuesday, January 17 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue with Reverend George Puramadathil CFIC officiating. Cremation to follow.
