Jane Linklater peacefully left for the spirit world Tuesday, January 24, 2017, surrounded by family members, at the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at the age of 81 years.
She requested her immediate family to attend a Mass with her the day before her passing, where she had her last communion presided by a Roman Catholic Clergy.
Jane was born Wednesday, May 22, 1935 in Granville Lake, Manitoba to Pierre and Louisa Bird.
Jane will be sadly missed by her big family and many other extended family members whom she had the opportunity to guide and love as her own. Her immediate family: husband Henry; children Irene Bighetty (Gordon), Gordon Linklater (Rita), Madeline Linklater (Family), Jacintha Marie Daniels (Family), Micheal Linklater (Crystal), Gary Linklater (Muriel), Kenneth Linklater (Justina), Gloria Linklater (Jeff), June Linklater (Milsap), Tony Linklater (Eleanore), Lowell Linklater (his daughters), and Charlotte Linklater (Family); siblings Emile Bird and Paul Bird; and many family members too numerous to mention.
Jane was predeceased by parents Pierre and Louisa Bird; brothers Abraham Bird, Jimmy Bird, Albert Bird; sister Margaret Bighetty; grandchildren Jason Linklater, Alisa Daniels, Delores Linklater, Ernest Bighetty, Gary Bighetty, Allison Colomb; daughter-in-law Nancy Linklater.
