Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital in Carbonear on Thursday November 3rd, 2016. Mrs. Mary Gertrude Whalen of Spaniard's Bay age 73 years. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Clara McCarthy, Son Rodney Grandson Peter, and sister Rosemary. Leaving to mourn are Her Husband Peter, One son Francis (Dianne) Grandchildren Travis and Liala. Sisters Margaret (George E.), Jessie (Nath), Marg (George D.) Loretta (Aubrey), Doreen (Terry), Frances (Terry) And Brother Terry McCarthy And Angelica. As well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home. Funeral prayers at 3pm at Lynch's Funeral home. Cremation to follow the visitation.
