Florence  Jean Ogilvie
October 28, 1928 – February 12, 2013

Ogilvie, Florence Jean – 84, of Wynn Park Villa, Truro. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Florence, on February 12, 2013 at Wynn Park Villa. Born in Wallace Station, Florence was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie (Amos) Blair. She was a life member of the Wentworth UCW and an Elder of the Wentworth United Church. She was full of life, had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to travel, and never missed a dance or bingo if there was one to be found. She is survived by her son David (Linda) , Wentworth and her daughter Joan (James) Moncton, her special grandchildren Crystal, Stacy, Adam, David, Michael and 8 great-grandchildren, Brooke, Tristen, Caitlyn, Isabella, Aaron, Madison, Joseph and Eskil. She is also survived by siblings Kenneth (Elizabeth) Blair, Saint John; Walter (Evelyn) Blair, Wallace; Ella Patriquin, Wentworth. She was predeceased by sister Hilda Blenkhorn, Amherst and brother Willard (Shirley) Blair, Wallace. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 16th from 1 -2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Brian DeLong officiating, all in the Wentworth United Church, 13315 Highway 4, Wentworth, N.S. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the IWK Health Centre or to a charity of choice.
