Obituary
The heart of a kind and gentle man has come to rest.
Our beloved Richard Humble peacefully passed away at home on the eve of November 14th 2016.
Through the example of his being, he touched, and enriched our life. Firstly and foremost, he loved his beloved wife and eternal friend, Carmen. He dwells warmly in her heart. Richard loved his family, his sister June Humble, and his nephews and niece, and his "in-laws." He had loyal and dedicated friends and colleagues who admired and respected him. Richard worked hard and played enthusiastically, he shared his innate gift of music with others, he cared for oh so many.... He laughed, he learned, he volunteered, he had an eye for quality whether in people, guitars, fine clothing, sports, or antiques. He lived his life fully and with integrity. No words can describe how he will be missed.
The outpouring of heartfelt kindness in these last months from all his friends and neighbors brought sunshine to Richard and Carmen. To Brenda, Alec, Dave, and all of his friends and colleagues at Career Services your love and loyalty is unmatched. To the caring team at Dr Torres and Dr Naug's office the gratitude for you all will be long lived and treasured. A special thanks to nurse Mathew Williams for his kindness and friendship. And finally to Dr Ashe for his compassion and availability.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday, November 21st from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
