Dora Nember

NEMBER, Dora, née Depeursinge –passed away peacefully, in the warm company of her children, at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, in her 99th year, after an active, fruitful life. Beloved wife of the late Vittorio L. Nember, they were ardent travellers and longtime residents of Galt. Loving mother of Patricia (husband, Dan L. Reid) and son Roberto (wife, Wendy Nember) and cherished Nonna of Brescia and Morgan Nember Reid. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Rosimbo and Enrico Zatta, as well as sister-in-law Emilia and her husband, Alfio Moroni. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Ruth, Beverly & Gabriella and spouse, Carlo Martini, and by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends throughout this continent and Europe. Predeceased by her siblings in Switzerland: Nelly, Lucy, Alice and Marc and their spouses, Dora is fondly remembered by their descendants. Celebrate Dora Nember's life with us at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Friday, February 10th from 1-2 PM with a memorial service in funeral home chapel at 2 PM. Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to World Wildlife Fund (WWF) of Canada.
