SHEPPARD, Dora – of Bell Island, Newfoundland passed away peacefully at her residence in Cambridge on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at age 72. Loving mother of Mary (Paul), Juanita (David), William (Heather), and Tammy (Rod). Cherished grandmother of Brandyn, Jennifer, Gerry, Marion-Lea, Alexandra, Jarod, Luke, and great-grandmother of Brody, and Mythius. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alonzo (Linda), Anthony, Maude (Gerald), (Ray), Ada (Jerry), and Marjorie. Dora was predeceased by parents Ada and Anthony Carroll, and sisters Margaret and Norma. Dora will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and by her good friends Kim, Tammy, Lucy, and Gail. The family would like to thank the CCAC and Cancer Society for all their care and support. Dora’s family will welcome friends and family at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge on Saturday, November 12th from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Visitation Parish, 16 Cooper Street, Cambridge on Saturday, November 12th at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
