Herb Seath

Herbert N. Seath, peacefully, November 22, 2016 at Campbell House –Hospice Georgian Triangle in Collingwood, ON. Herb was a loving husband of Margaret for 62 years. Beloved father of Brian, David, Carol (Ian) and Rosemary (John). Herb delighted in his nine Grandchildren: Laura, Matthew, Jeremy, Rebecca, Amanda, Elizabeth, Scott, Ross and Kathryn. Predeceased by his sister Catherine. Herb had a successful career in Capital Management in the Financial Industry, in Montreal at Air Canada, and eventually as a founding member of Knight, Bain, Seath and Holbrook Capital Management in Toronto. Herb was an avid sailor and tennis player, enjoying both as a former member of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. Retirement years were spent with Marg at their Florida condo on the Atlantic, with sailing adventures in the Caribbean. Eventually they moved to the Collingwood area, where he could indulge his love of skiing, tennis and walking the forest pathways. A gracious, active and loving man, Herb will be sadly missed by family and friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday December 3, 2016 at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Herb was a supporter of the Collingwood Marine and General Hospital, Hospice Georgian Triangle and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
