Villeneuve, Daryl Lawrence Peacefully in his home on Saturday March 25th, God called upon Daryl to enter the Gates of Heaven. In his 59th year, Daryl leaves behind his loving son Nicholas and a large community of cherished friends. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Patricia (nee O’Connell), and parents Lawrence and Florence. Loving, kind and true, Daryl touched the lives of everyone he met. A graduate of Mohawk College, Daryl worked over twenty years with Sears Canada. Hockey was his passion. Daryl was a volunteer at Lawfield Minor Hockey for 20 years. He has held the position of President for the last 8 years and was also the chair of the RHL Committee overseeing House League Hockey for the entire city. Daryl lived his life with little needs, full of selfless deeds and always doing his best for everyone. His life is to be remembered with love, laughter, and fond memories. Daryl, our love for you will forever last and deep in our hearts you will always remain. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Friday March 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Vigil prayers will be held on Friday at 8:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 416 Mohawk Rd. E., on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dave Andreychuk Foundation.
