Ella Jackson (née Platts) of Kincardine, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Sunday, November 27, 2016 in her 97th year. Beloved mother of Roger Jackson (Gail Stroud) of British Columbia and Peter Jackson (Lizzie) of England. Dear grandmother of Deborah Craven (Jim) of Oakville, Michelle Jackson, Scott Jackson (Celeste), Craig Jackson (Dom) all of Kincardine, Rob Jackson (Angie), Jennifer Jackson all of Stratford, Amy Davies (Lee) and Christopher Jackson all of England. Loved great-grandmother of Eric, Meagan, Shae, Shannon, Rory, Kaitlyn, Abbey, Kristen, Lauren, Steven, Kate and Nicolas. Survived by her sister Sandra Firbank (Terry) of England Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Rose (née Williams) Platts, son Michael Jackson and his wife Betty, great-grandson Justin Jackson, brother Peter and sisters Pam and Sonia. Private family arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine (519-396-2701). Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy
