Burca, Aurel Aurel Burca was called home by our heavenly Father on November 27, 2016 at the age of 70. He was an exemplary husband and father, a man slow to judge, and quick to welcome the stranger. Aurel was always eager to fulfill the needs of others. He was also a founding member of the Romanian Pentecostal Church of God in Kitchener. As he joins his beloved son Christian, and his parents Floare and Traian, he is survived by his loving wife Marta and children Cornelia (Daniel), Daniel, Valentin (Eunice) and Jonathan (Miriam). He leaves behind 20 grandchildren who affectionately called him "Tata Bun". Aurel is also survived by his siblings Samuil (Ofelia), Teodor (Letitia), Florica (Gregory), Pavel (Maria), Traian (Lidia), and Moise (Maria). We thank the Stroke Unit at Grand River Hospital, CCAC and Care Partners for their extraordinary care and compassion. Aurel's family will receive relatives and friends at the Romanian Pentecostal Church of God, 160 Grand River Blvd., Kitchener, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 and Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral for Aurel will be held at the same church on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
