Klassen, Ingrid (nee Vogel) January 18, 1957 - January 17, 2017 "If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever" Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on January 17th surrounded by those who cherished her. Despite an aggressive cancer diagnosis, Ingrid maintained her strength and never lost hold of what was most important to her: family, friends and love, until her too early departure from us, only 4 hours shy of her 60th Birthday. Beloved Schatz of her husband, Nick, for 38 years. Loving Mutti of Christine and Diane. Predeceased by her parents Erwin and Waltraut. Ingrid will also be missed and remembered by her brother-in-law Henry and her sister-in-law Kathy, her loving friends Andy and Karen, nieces, nephews, as well as other friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place. A private service and cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ingrid's life will be held at The Butterfly Conservatory (2500 Kossuth Rd., Cambridge), on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and expressions of sympathy, we ask the donations may be made to one of Ingrid's favourite charities, the Canadian Wildlife Federation or the local Canadian Tire Jumpstart.
