Boppre, Larry It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of our father Larry. Dad passed away peacefully in his 86th year at St. Mary's Hospital on January 17, 2017. Predeceased by his gracious and loving wife Phyllis (Honey). Survived by his five children Debbie (Brian) Lorentz, Donna (Tony) Strauss-Germann, Diane (Larry) Aigner, Tony (Stephanie), James (Claire), 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Emma (Voisin) and his son-in-law John Strauss (2004). Larry was the last surviving member of his family and will be remembered by his friend Ina. In our younger years our Dad worked hard to always make sure our needs were met - "Thanks Dad". Dad was always proud to have been the first employee of Kuntz Electroplating hired by Oscar Kuntz in 1948. He is now reunited with his Honey in Heaven. Larry's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. A private family service will be held. Private cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Fabry's Association or Autism Speaks Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
