Boronka, Karen (Lucreția Kreți): Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with ALS, on Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Zarie. Loving mother of Joseph, Lily (Brian) Freiburger, John (Renee), Peter (Lizi), George, Daniel (Irina) and the late Paul. Cherished grandmother of 25 grandchildren. Dear sister of Trifu Boka (the late Persa), and predeceased by her parents Peter and Ana Boka and sisters Cristina (Ilia) and Persuica (Jonel). Karen was a long time member of Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene). Karen's family will receive relatives and friends from 2- 4 pm & 7- 9 pm on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Service will be held in The Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
