Peters, Robert (Bob) We feel very saddened by the loss of a dear husband, father and friend. A very kind and gentle man. Bob passed away at Innisfree House on Friday, November 25, 2016. He will be missed by his best friend and wife Marilyn Weber, his two sons Glen and Ross and their families, also remembered by the Carter and Edwards families. Predeceased by his first wife Kathryn Huber, parents Arthur Peters and Alphonsie Roberge, his brothers Norman and Albert (Bud). Remembered by his brother Raymond, Haney, B.C. Bob served in the military for 26 years and after moving to Kitchener with his family, he was a maintenance mechanic at Mardan Industries retiring in 1997. Bob's greatest pastimes were reading, a good book was always waiting to be read, dining out and his Wednesday art classes with well known local artist Michael Roth. Bob's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place. Pastor Roland Syens of Holy Cross Lutheran Church officiating. A special thank you to Bob Carey, CCAC, Paramed and Care Partners, doctors, PCW's, nurses and volunteers at Innisfree House for all their care of Bob. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Kitchener would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
