Brennan Christopher Friebe Obituary

Brennan Christopher Friebe May 13, 1988 to January 19, 2017 It is with great sadness that Brennan’s parents, Marla and Pierre, brothers Alexander and Benjamin, and dog Duke announce his passing on January 19, 2017. He has gone to join his beloved Nana, Donna Weir (nee Sharpe). His grandfather, Val Weir, and wife Patricia, and his grandparents in Germany, Juergen and Ingeborg Friebe will forever remember him. Brennan was cherished by his many Aunts and Uncles, including Shannon & Steve, Christopher, Matthew, and Yvonne & Volker, and was enjoyed by his many cousins in Toronto and Munich. Brennan attended St. Luke Elementary School, and Lorne Park High School, and enjoyed wonderful years of friendships within the Lorne Park area. He was an avid hockey player & devoted Doug Gilmour fan, playing for the LPHA and Erindale Hockey Association under the tutelage of numerous and talented coaches. He also played Rep Baseball for the Clarkson Lorne Park Baseball Association, where he fondly remembered many years of pitching and playing Third Base along with his teammates and coaches. His early years were spent golfing with his father and brothers, grandfather, and friends, and enjoying trips to Germany, Italy and to his aunt & uncle’s cottage in Muskoka. He was very loving, kind, and creative. His brothers will forever miss playing hockey in the driveway with him and competitive games of PlayStation NHL in the basement. We will miss his generous heart and incredible sense of humour, and our lives will never be the same. He experienced a very special relationship with his uncle Matthew, whose love and humour Brennan shared. A Catholic Funeral Celebration will be held on Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at St. Christopher’s Church, at 11 a.m., 1171 Clarkson Rd. North, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brennan’s name to Caritas School of Life. Donations can be made at: https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/CaritasProjectCommunityAgai/OnlineGiving.html
