In Loving Memory of Antonio “Tony” Guido 86 years Peacefully, Sunday, December 4th, 2016 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Flora (Fiorino) Guido. Loving father of Joe (wife Mailiis), Frank (wife Nicole), Gerry (wife Anita) and Carlo (wife Cathy). Cherished Nonno of Philip, Jill-Marie, Anthony, John, Sierra and Aldo. Dear son of Giuseppe and Raffaela (Nardi) Guido both predeceased. Dear brother of Francesco (wife Elvira) both predeceased, Armando (wife Giuseppina) both predeceased, Rosaria (husband Raffaele Ruffalo) both predeceased, Saverio predeceased (wife Luisa), Adelina (husband Luigi Gaudio) both predeceased, Lisa (husband Giovanni Caputo) both predeceased, Santo (wife Adele) both predeceased, Lauretta (husband Michele Mazzuca predeceased), Maria (husband Antonio Greco) both predeceased and Salvatore (wife Fiora). Special brother in law to Rosina (husband Eugenio Bruno predeceased), Maria (husband Alberto Cerilli predeceased), Lisa (husband Luigi Ricci) and Gabriele Fiorino (wife Rosetta). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Antonio was a dedicated family man and provider. His wife Flora was the love of his life, celebrating 60 years of marriage. He was happiest hosting and being in the company of family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent many happy Saturday afternoons playing Porketta Bingo at the Beef & Bird. He will be remembered as a very outgoing and friendly man who was well liked by all who knew him. To meet Tony was to be Tony’s friend, most recently those friendships were with the staff at 4th Floor Health Sciences North (North Tower). The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Pun and the nursing staff for their wonderful care and compassion. They especially thank Sherri “Brandy”, Lisa and Lena for their kindness, warmth and care for Tony. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Wednesday with parish prayers at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday) Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 19 Mary Street, Sudbury Thursday, December 8th, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery, Sudbury In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sam Bruno PET Scanner Fund would be appreciated.
