In Loving Memory of Frances “Fran” Findlay Peacefully at Extendicare Falconbridge in her 55th, year. She was predeceased by her parents Harland and Veronica, her brother Terry and loving grandparents Les and Audrey Findlay. She will be lovingly remembered by her step-mom Shirley Findlay and step-sisters Nancy Wickham and Sandra Henderson (Ron). She will also be missed by her nieces Jaime Villeneuve (Steph), Jessica Hillier (John) and Lindsay Henderson. Fran was a fun loving individual who always saw the best in people and made the most of any situation. She loved being involved in family celebrations and spending time at the French River. Fran had an amazing memory and could sing along to almost any song she listened to. She was an avid Sudbury Wolves fan and held season tickets for many years. In recent years she enjoyed the company of and playing cards with her friends. A special thank you to the staff of Falconbridge Extendicare for their kindness during Fran’s stay. Also a debt of gratitude to Ray Drouin for his care and support over the years. He was instrumental to Fran’s ability to remain in her home for so long. A celebration of life will be held at the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Friday, January 13th, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. (Friends may call after 3:00 P.M. Friday) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jarrett Centre or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
