Giuseppe Barazzutti Obituary

In Loving Memory of Giuseppe “Joe” Barazzutti 83 years. Peacefully, Thursday, January 12th, 2017 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Greta (Birmingham) Barazzutti. Loving father of Susan, Deborah Viau (Chuck), Michael (Susan), and Joe (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Bre-Ann, Carissa, Sarah, Jonathan and Luca and great granddaughter Melodi. Dear son of Lodovico and Virginia (Brazzoni) Barazzutti both predeceased. Dear brother of his beloved sister Matilda Michelutti (Leo) both predeceased, special brother-in-law of Pat Birmingham (Elaine) and his sister-in-law Judy Birmingham Thomas (Balfour) and sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Ryerson University in 1956. He was an engineering technologist in construction at Falconbridge Ltd., retiring in 1991. He enjoyed woodworking, had an extensive workshop, and built his own home and cottage. He was actively involved in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church as a member of the parish council and was also a Eucharistic Minister. Special thanks to Dr. Goluch and the dialysis staff, the staff of HSH South Tower 6th floor, CCAC Matthew Crawford, and the Bayshore staff for their years of help, dedication and caring. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Visitation from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday With parish prayers 3 p.m. Sunday Funeral Mass In Our Lady of Hope Church 591 Brennan Rd. Monday, January 16th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation with Interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Hope Building Fund or Inner City Home Food Bank would be appreciated.
