Robert Zadow

In loving memory of Robert Elmer Zadow, 76 years, who passed away Friday, December 2nd, 2016, surrounded by his family and dear friends at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband and lifelong soul mate of Jeannine Zadow (Beach). Father to Christopher Zadow and Roberta-Jeanne Zadow-Roy (husband Dan). Much respected and loved by his grandsons Niklas Roy (fiancée Sam Robbins), Austin Roy (friend Maggie), and Riley Roy (friend Jessica). Son of Elmer and Edith Zadow predeceased. Cherished brother to Diane Radey (Zadow) and brother-in-law Neil Radey (predeceased), sister in law Jackie Beach, and brother in law Milton Beach (predeceased). Uncle to Tammy Frank (husband Darren), Darren Radey (wife Mandy), Shawn Radey (wife Ginger), Shannon Radey, Melanie Beach, and Dawn Beach. Bob loved life and lived it to the fullest extent, serving his community with enthusiasm. He was a member of the Sudbury Masonic Lodge, the Sudbury Shriners, and the Eastern Star. His love for singing was evident by his participation in the Bel Canto Chorus, the Shrine Ramblers’ Choir, and the St. Andrew’s United Church Choir. Bob spent his winters skiing in the Rockies, his summers at home on Black Lake fishing, and come deer season, could only be found at the hunt camp. May he find similar pleasures in his new life along with his buddies. A celebration of Bob’s Life will be held in St. Andrew’s United Church 111 Larch Street, Sudbury Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 at 2pm, commencing with a Masonic Memorial Service under the auspices of the Sudbury Lodge #658 AF&AM, followed by a liturgy by Rev. Catherine Sommerville. (Friends may gather at the church after 1pm Tuesday). Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sudbury Shrine Club - Rameses Transportation Fund or St. Andrew’s United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
