In Loving Memory of William Herbert “Bert” Morrison 64 years Peacefully, Monday, February 20th, 2017 at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Debbie Stark. Loving father of Clayton (wife Andrea), Craig (wife Chantelle) and stepson Cory Stark (wife Cheryl). Cherished grandfather of Parker, Ryder and Brooklyn. Dear son of William and Margaret (Osborne) Morrison predeceased. Loving brother of Sharon Roy (husband Victor), Peggy Melanson (husband Frank predeceased) and Carol Bigras predeceased (husband Guy). Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Special brother to David James (wife Pierrette), Brian Riutta (wife Colleen) and Cory Werling (wife Julie). Bert worked at Creighton Mine for 30 years, retiring from INCO in 2003. He spent many happy times at his property on French River. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing drums in local pipe bands. He had been a longtime volunteer with the Walden Minor Hockey League. Memorial Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. (Friends may gather after 11:00 A.M. Saturday) In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McColluch Hospice or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
