PLATT, Faye R., age 91, passed away on January 9, 2017 in Chandler, AZ. Born in Stanley, ND, Faye was the only daughter of Sam Hassan and Machaedea Jaha. Following her marriage to Clinton Platt in 1953, Faye moved to Tucson, AZ, where she lived for 54 years. Faye worked at Tucson Medical Center for more than 20 years. In her retirement, Faye enjoyed baking, gardening, and crocheting pillows and blankets for friends and family. She moved to Chandler, AZ in 2007 to be closer to family. Faye was preceded in death by her husband (1996), her parents, and her four brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Platt of Raleigh, NC, and Bonnie Easterly (Kenneth) of Chandler, AZ. Faye supported the Tucson Community Foodbank for many years; in lieu of flowers, the family suggests a gift to your local community food bank. A private Burial Service will be held.
