Donald “Bear” Hobson, 66, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma formerly of Forrest City, Arkansas passed away on Saturday December 3, 2016 in a Sallisaw nursing home. He was a retired construction worker and a truck driver. Bear was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a Baptist. He is survived by two daughters, Nikkie Williams of Waynesville, MO and Cheyene Hobson of Sallisaw, Ok; one son, Lucas Hobson of Vian, OK; two brothers, George Hobson of Rogers, AR and Jimmy Hobson of Greenfield, TN; six grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 7, 2016 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with full military honors under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. The Family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home.
