Reverend Glynn Craine

Reverend Glynn David Craine, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in his home. He was born on June 8, 1934 in Louisiana, MO, to Clarence and Mamie (Myers) Craine. He was a minister of Harvest Time Church for 20 years. He was currently a member of Harvest Time Church and was in the Golden Harvesters. After retirement he continued his ministries of visiting shut-ins, hospitals, and nursing homes, which he considered the most important part of his ministry. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling, visiting all 50 states. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Victory Church with entombment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum, under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley of the home; a daughter, Beth Blythe and her husband Ross of Fort Smith, AR; three sons, David Craine and his wife Kathy, Steve Craine, and Joe Craine and his wife Staci, all of Fort Smith, AR; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Weston Craine, Justin Blythe, Eric Blythe, Ross Blythe, Sr., Ross Blythe, Jr. and Doug Stoufer. The family will visit with friends from 6-8PM on Friday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home 4500 Jenny Lind Road, Fort Smith, AR.
