Laddie Taylor

Laddie Taylor passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at home in Canon City, CO. He was 56 years old. Laddie was born September 7, 1960, to Henry Taylor, Sr. and Victoria Waratza in Durango, CO. He grew up in Ignacio and has kept many of his childhood friends. He also lived in Denver and Albuquerque. Laddie suffered a motorcycle accident and never fully recovered; he moved to Canon City for advanced health care. Laddie enjoyed music, hiking, riding horses and the Colorado Mountains. He made many friends through his travels; all who met him enjoyed his friendship. He is survived by his siblings: Sally Velazquez, Faith Gomez, Henry Taylor, Jr., Sunni "Dez" Waratza, Henrietta Taylor, and Valerie Taylor; Several nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Siblings: Jack, Beverly, Jason and Dean Taylor and Norma Waratza-Bojorquez. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 10 am, at the Southern Ute Memorial Chapel.
