Ardis Orella Harmon, 86, of Greeley passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Fairacres Manor. She was born in McCook, Nebraska to Charles Henry and Hulda (Kern) Kreiger on May 12, 1930 and grew up there, graduating from high school. On April 27, 1947, she married Robert LaVerne Harmon in McCook. They later moved to Colorado where Ardis worked as a waitress in Greeley and around Weld County before retiring. She enjoyed word search puzzles but most enjoyed time with her family. Survivors include her sons; Robert “Buzz” (Marsha) Harmon of Greeley and Merlin Harmon of Fort Collins, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, her sister, Delores Busch of Oklahoma as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Violet Martin, a brother Merlin Kreiger, husband Bob, son Timothy Harmon, daughter Theresa Rayburn and granddaughter Desiree Rayburn. Viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23 at the Adamson Chapel with service at 10:00 a.m. and a reception to follow. Interment 1 p.m. Thursday at the Eaton Cemetery. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Fairacres Manor and Accent Hospice for their care and kindness to Ardis and family.
