Frederick Charles Becker, 76, of Roggen, CO passed away February 2, 2017. He was born June 20, 1940 in Santa Monica, CA to Marvin Becker and Lois Simmering, and grew up in Hastings, NE. Fred served 4 years in the U.S. Navy, and subsequently worked for International Business Machines (IBM) in Boulder, CO. After many years of success at IBM, he radically shifted directions in life, earning a Master of Fine Arts and started his own business producing ceramic beads, stained glass works, oak furniture, and many other high quality works of art. Fred wondered at God's Creation and shared many lessons from his observations of nature with his children and grandchildren. He found the niche in life that most dream of - providing for and being with his family while doing what he loved to do, all while blessing other people with the fruits of his labor. Fred is survived by his wife, Debbie, and children, Mitch Becker, of King George, VA and Brian Becker, of Wiggins, CO, and 10 grandchildren. Memorial Contributions can be made in Fred's name to "Homestead Bible Camp" in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at Christ Community Church in Roggen.
