Roger Stanley

Roger Stanley, 77, of Evans, CO passed away on February 6, 2017 in Greeley, CO. Roger was born in Clovis, NM on June 20, 1939 to Jack and Eva (New) Stanley. He grew up in Lubbock, TX and graduated from high school there. On February 24, 1962, in Lubbock, Roger married Doris Wolf. Roger worked as an installer for Western Electric. Roger liked to hunt, fish, travel, go to Rockies games, and when he was younger he loved to rodeo. He also loved to hang out with his grandkids. Roger is survived by his wife, Doris of Evans; daughters, Sharlyn (Dennis) St. George, and Sonja Stanley of Brighton, CO; and grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Taylor, Angel, Robert, and Eric. He was preceded in death by his parents. A service to celebrate Roger’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday February 9, 2017 at Westview Church of Christ, 4151 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.
