Keith Hoffman Obituary

Anyone who knew Keith Hoffman, “the King”, would describe him as having the ability to dance as though no one was watching, Love as though he had never loved before, Sing as though no one was listening and Live as though Heaven was on Earth. Keith died on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his Queen, the love of his life and best friend, Tammy and their fur babies, Sammy and Cooper. He is also survived by his step children, Tiffany, Matthew and Dan Mazzaccaro (Christina) and their son, Aaron who was the apple of PopPop’s eye. He also leaves behind his special godchildren Symiah, Elijah and Jayceon; a brother, Wayne and family and several cousins. Keith was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Marion Hoffman of Hamden. Keith requests that he be remembered for: always having a better tan than the locals in Mexico, where he one day hoped to retire and raise llamas, his sense of humor and quick wit, entertaining friends and family at his famous BBQ’s where everyone felt welcomed, being a true Met’s fan since his first game in 1962, his incredible gardens, and having loved his job of 32 years working for the railroad “All the live long day”. Per Keith’s request, there will be no calling hours and the funeral service and burial will be private.
