Catherine Suda

Catherine Suda, age 77, of Milford, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born on December 26, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Daniel and Mary Merrill Sheehan. Catherine was raised by her wonderful Aunt, Catherine Dowling and Uncle, Leo Dowling. Before retiring, she was employed as a nurse for St. Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull. Catherine will be remembered for her devotion to her family, friends and profession. She is survived by her loving daughters Catherine Audet and her husband Daniel and Christine DiOrio and her husband Gary all of Milford, sister Catherine DiGiacomo and her husband Don of Fishkill, NY and her beloved granddaughter, Ariella DiOrio. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband William Suda and brothers John and Gerald Sheehan. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 3, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 4th at 11am St. John Cemetery, Moose Hill Rd., in Monroe.
