Gaston Loquine

Gaston M. Loquine, age 60, of Orange peacefully passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on Friday October 7, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Camaguey, Cuba on October 15, 1955. Gaston was most recently employed as project manager for Van Dyk Baler following 28 years as a mechanical engineer at Beiersdorf, Inc. He enjoyed summers on his boat with his wife, traveling, golfing with friends and anything that had a motor. Gaston is survived by his loving wife, Marcia Miranda Loquine, devoted daughters Michelle Brown and husband Curt, Dr. Jennifer Loquine- Welsh and husband Evan, Emily Loquine, one grandson, Finley, cousin Aimee SanMartin Heltzel and dedicated parents Gaston and Miriam Loquine. In addition, he leaves behind adored family, friends and pets. Calling hours are Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 5 pm - 7 pm at the Smith Funeral Home 135 Broad St, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at 10 am at Holy Infant Church 450 Racebrook Rd, Orange. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Smilow Cancer Hospital 20 York St, New Haven, CT 06510.
