Paul S. Black, 82, of Vernon, beloved husband of Marion (Smith) Black passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born July 24, 1934 in Bedford, NH, the son of the late Roger and Arlene (Ojala) Black. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Daniel Black and his wife Brenda of Norwich, Paul Black and his wife Lisa of Tolland and Peter Black of Rockville; his brother, Roger Black of Pomfret; his sister, Phyllis Holly of TX; his grandchildren, James and his wife Marci, Thomas, Cassandra, Emily, David, Allison and Carolyn; and his great granddaughter, Madison Ella. He was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy Walker, Charlotte Taylor, Marjorie Black, and Abner Black. All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
