Peter J. Reis, 84,beloved widower of Josephine Reis who died in June, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 7, 1932 in England to the late William and Isbell (Pierce) Reis. He worked as a machinist most of his life in the Manufacturing Industry. He loved music, watching sports and trips to the casino. He was an avid collector of Model Airplanes and Cars but his favorite pastime was spending precious moments with his grandchildren. He resided in Enfield for 10 years, Ellington 20 years before settling in Vernon. He is survived by his son Jeffrey; his daughter Michelle Reis-Addicott of Vernon; his sister Jean Potts of England; his grandchildren Bryan, Nicholas and Logan. Peter was predeceased by his grandson Joshua, his brother Dennis Reis and his sister Doreen Ference. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4 – 6 pm at the Burke Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect st, Rockville. A Funeral Home Service will take place at 6:00 pm.
