Dianne Lorraine Myers, 68, of West Simsbury, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was born March 22, 1948 in Hartford, daughter of the late James. E. and Lorraine T. (LaRose) Hudson and had lived in Granby for many years prior to moving to West Simsbury. Dianne was a Rental Agent for Fountain Village in Manchester for many years prior to her retirement and also had been an EMT, Surgical Technician and volunteer at Cherry Brook Nursing Home in Canton. She was an animal lover, enjoyed reading, cooking, and shopping, especially with her granddaughters. Dianne also enjoyed knitting having done so for many charitable organizations. She is survived by her three children, Jason Myers of East Hartland, Eric Myers and his wife Mary of Granby and Lynne Young and her husband Jon of West Simsbury; her granddaughters , Victoria and Tess Myers; her grandsons, Eric Myers, Jr. and Adam and Jackson Young; her sister, Deborah Braddock and her husband Roger of West Simsbury; her brother, James Hudson and his wife Darla of New Hartford and her niece and nephews, Rev Dr. Matthew Braddock and his wife Christy of Silver Spring, MD and Benjamin Braddock and his wife Joy of West Hartford and Bethany, Jared and Seth Hudson. She was predeceased by a brother, Brian Lee Hudson. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury on Saturday, January 21st from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Simsbury. Burial will follow in the Simsbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance Association, P.O.
