At an early age Armecia committed her life to Christ and joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Exmore, VA. In 1958, she was united in holy matrimony with Paul L. Ayers. Together they relocated to Dover, DE, where she became a faithful member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.
