Dorothy Jean King, age 59, of Altha passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Tallahassee. Born in Richmond, Virginia, December 13, 1956, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Frank and Doloris Dee (Ambs) King. In addition to her parents, Frank and Doloris King, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Jean Scott. Survivors include her fiance, John David Moody; three daughters, Amanda Parfait and her husband, Dave of Diamondhead, Mississippi, Brandy Deaton and her fiancé, Joshua Wamble of Indiana, and Teresa Dorothy Dale Goshorn and her husband, Lindsey of Panama City; fourteen grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Krystal, Cheyenne, Kenzie, Randy, Julian, Kailei, Kaydn, Kaisyn, Cameron, Caleb, Savannah, and Lilly; seven great-grandchildren, Emma, Lenox, Liam, Hadley, Julian, Kaeton, and Jaxson; three brothers, Bradley King of Stockton, California, Mark King of Mississippi, Frank King of Fountain; and two sisters, Deborah King Lewis of Kiln, Mississippi and Wanda King Dye of Long Beach, Mississippi. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20 at Adams Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 at the funeral home.
