Dave Williams Obituary

A Time to Live: Dave was born on February 14, 1973 to the late Gloria Sapp and Dave Williams. He was raised by the late Reather and Ben Sapp, in the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale, FL. A Time to Grow: Dave attended Dillard High School and later received his high school diploma. He was well known for his unforgettable smile, love for his family, his generosity in the community, coaching the kids in football and basketball, and always helping those in need. Dave was a mentor to everyone that came across his path. As he walked this earth, he was a humble, quiet and loving person. Everyone who came in contact with him, immediately loved him. He touched the lives of many people. The favor of God was on his life because he gave unselfishly. A Time to Love: Dave’s undying love flourished in 1988, when he met Chiquita Irving, and married his soulmate on January 24, 2002. At that moment he knew their love would endure through eternity. Through the good and the bad, Dave loved his Queen, his backbone, the one he made his wife. A Time to Father: Dave leaves behind his amazing children Daveta Williams, Desire Williams, Kenjra Williams, Diamond Williams, Khalid Williams, Dave Williams IV, and Dave Williams (Cinco) whom he shared a special bond. A Time to Work: Dave was a jack of all of trades. He was the proud owner of Reather’s Auto Detailing and Sub Shop (named after his beloved Granny). A Time to Rest: On Thursday, October 13, 2016, God whispered to His son, “Well done”, and summoned Dave to heaven, where there will be no pain nor suffering. Our earthly Angel has gained his wings and is watching from above. A Time to Mourn: The fond memories of Dave will be cherished forever by his loving wife, Chiquita “Renee” Williams (affectionately known to him as Bae), his children; siblings: Samuel James, Carolyn Graham-Robest(Michael), Cal Graham, Jr., Kimberly Graham (Alex), Crystal Graham, April Walker, Davonna Walker, Dave Walker, Keisha Walker, Katrina Harvey-Williams, Margo Porter, Lamar Brooks, Dave Williams, Pedro Williams, Chris Williams, Johnnie Williams, Michelle Perry, Deborah Murphy and Brenda Blackmon; aunts: Diane Jackson (David) and Deborah Gross (Eugene); cousins: Stephanie Cotton and DeVeda Jackson; mother-in-law: Virginia Irving; father-in-law: Curtis Irving; brother-in-law’s: Tyra Irving(Shantrell) and Maurice(Marquita); special guardian angels: Freddie Mae Bell and Ruby Reese; brothers from another mother: Chuck, Burga, Pop, Soldier, Diesel, Marco, Mark, Stan, Johnny, Bunya, Jarvis and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
