Ida Granger

Ida Louise Jackson Granger was born on April 19, 1925 to Marie Jackson and Charles Jackson in Panama, Republic of Panama. Ida relocated to Florida in 1987 with her daughter, Melva. Ida belonged to the Mistic Lodge in Panam . She married Alfredo Granger on January 14, 1970. Alfredo was laid to rest in February of 1995. Ida was a very quiet and reserved person with a heart of gold. She loved to bake, crochet, and watch her favorite TV shows. She had a knack for remembering everyone's birthdays and acknowledged each and every one of them. Many people were not aware of this, but Ida was a prayer warrior. She loved life and adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was immensely loved by family and friends. Ida is survived by: her beloved daughter, Melva Gomez; one grandson, Carlos E. Reid Jr.; three grandchildren, Hadiya Reid, Cherele Denique Williams, and Carlos E. Reid III; seven great-great-grandchildren, Aqilah Reid, Armel Kamari Na'il Reid, Amari Imen Na'il Reid, Zayanna Jewel Washington, Nylae Elizabeth Williams, Zarriah Denique Williams, and Phillip John Williams Jr.; two nieces, Yaira Cadogan and Marukel Cadoga; one nephew, Alonso Cadogan Jr.; and a host of cousins and friends. Ida will surely be missed, but never forgotten.
