Jeanie Thornton Lauderdale Lakes, Florida Obituary

Jeanie Thornton

Ms. Jeanie Thornton was born on April 3, 1956 to Estelle Weaver and William Weaver in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jeanie attended Piper High School where she excelled in her studies. She was a member of The House of Prayer of The Apostolic Faith. In her spare time Jeanie enjoyed reading, cleaning and enjoying life. She enjoyed helping others as well as spending time with her family and grandchildren. God looked around His garden and He found an empty place. He then looked upon this earth and saw Jeanie’s tired face. On January 3, 2016, He put His arms around her and lifted her to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Anthony Jenkins and Eddie Roberts; one daughter: Jamie Mallory; four sisters: Mary Howard, Dean Thornton, Sandra Weaver and Lecia Weaver; one brother: Dave Thornton; two grandchildren: Nyah Jenkins and Cayden Miller; also her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly like they were her own children. Jeanie was preceded in death by her loving mother, Estella Weaver; father, William Weaver; her sister Jeanetta Weaver and Frankie Weaver. Jeanie Thornton is gone, however she will never be forgotten or replaced. May her soul rest in peace.
