John Hamilton "POP" Green, was born February 1, 1936, in Vineland, New Jersey to the late Rose Cherry Green. John departed this life on August 29, 2015 at his home, with his wife Althera of 23 years and family by his bedside. In John's earlier life, he became a man of God and ministered around the country, for many years. "POP" as he was known by his family and friends, was a loving husband, a caring father and grandfather and a, giving family man. John's teachings and his wisdom, and his knowledge of God's word, touched the hearts of many people, wherever, and whenever he spoke. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife: Althera; 7 daughters: LeeAnn, Sheri, Shante', Monique, Dominique, Christina, and Martha; 3 sons: Johnny, Solomon, and Aldolphus; 1 aunt: Bessie Mae; 3 sons-in-law: William, Ray, and Nicholas; 1 sister-in-law: Tina; 1 brother-in-law: Ellis; 2 oldest grandchildren: Jessalyn and Safwan, with a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Very close-special family friends, Marlene Williams, Geneva and Robert Harp, and Roxy Ramos. Pop is gone, but he will never be forgotten for his loving memory is forever in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.
