Mildred Roberts

Mildred Christine Roberts was born on December 5, 1922 in the city of Covington, Georgia. She married Richard Roberts in 1951 and they eventually settled in the Fort Lauderdale area. Together they had three children; Beverly, Crystal and Melanie. She was lively and energetic with a vibrant and charming personality. She loved music and was an excellent pianist. She took pride in providing communion to the sick and shut-in, and providing volunteer services through Catholic Charities. She believed in giving generously to those in need. Mildred received her Bachelor’s degree from Clark College in English. She also received her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Administration Supervision. Most of her teaching career was completed in Palm Beach County in various high schools which included Lake Shore High School (now Glade Central High School) and Lake Worth High School. She retired from Boca Raton High School in 1995. Mildred went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2015. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her only living daughter: Beverly; her only granddaughter: Jennifer; many dear friends; and a host of loving family members. Her loving memory will be with us forever. She is now with her husband and two daughters who preceded her in death.
