Milton Cooper Obituary

Mr. Milton Bernard Cooper was to Cressell Sr. and Lillie Mae Cooper in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 28, 1953. Bernard attended Lincoln Park Elementary, Everglades Middle, and Dillard High School where he obtained his GED and graduated before his class in 1971, and enrolled in Broward Community College. Bernard, had opportunity to be employed by, United States Postal Services, Southern Bell, Broward County Mass Transit, and Manheim Auto Auction where he later retired in 2014. Those that knew him called him “Balo” and knew that he was a huge Miami Dolphins fan. He loved to read, sing and play the organ; he was an avid chess player, loved to fish; and most importantly loved spending time with his family and friends. In early morning of July 4, 2016 God called him to eternal rest. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: wife: Gwindon D. Lee; daughter: Trinity Latrice Cooper; grandsons: Brandon Tyler Cooper and BreVaughn Tyrell Cooper; granddaughter: Breyona Lintrel Cooper; Bernard’s brother: Cressell Cooper Jr. preceded him in death on April 7, 2016; sister: Tonja D. Odomes; 6 nieces, 9 nephews; 5 aunts; best friend: Winthrop Pettis; special friend: Lisa Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
