Pierre Philus

Born in Gaspard, Haiti, on March 14, 1959, son of Ermilio Cyprien Philius and Marie Theliase Jeannestin, Pierre-Louis attended St. Therese School. He migrated to the United States in 1980 when he was 21 years old. Pierre- Louis was well known as a talented musician, a hard worker, an active church’s member, and a generous man. His skill was recognized with the most valuable player award as Church President, Youth Vice-President, Sunday School Teacher, and music Coordinator. He took all of the roles in his life to heart and strove to honor, support, and guide and most importantly, protected his family. His devotion to his family was the foundation of his actions. Indeed, Pierre-Louis was a quiet man, but his presence was always known.
