Pierre Philus

Born in Gaspard, Haiti, on March 14, 1959, son of Ermilio Cyprien Philius and Marie Theliase Jeannestin, Pierre-Louis attended St. Therese School. He migrated to the United States in 1980 when he was 21 years old. Pierre- Louis was well known as a talented musician, a hard worker, an active church’s member, and a generous man. His skill was recognized with the most valuable player award as Church President, Youth Vice-President, Sunday School Teacher, and music Coordinator. He took all of the roles in his life to heart and strove to honor, support, and guide and most importantly, protected his family. His devotion to his family was the foundation of his actions. Indeed, Pierre-Louis was a quiet man, but his presence was always known. He leaves behind his wife, Ritha philius; his father, Ermilio Cyprien Philius;his father in-law and mother in-law, Oriol Belizaire, Contia Belizaire; his children, Dadly Philius, Pierrela Philius, Kerby Philius; his daughter in-law, Nathalie Philius; his brothers and sisters, Eliphene Philius, Ermilus Philius, Henri Philius, Clevil Philius, Therese Philius, Acephie Philius; his grand kids, Bre’Nasia Robenson, Matteo-Levi Philius, Tahj- Cole Philius; his nephews and nieces, Alain Philius, Benjamin Philius, Wilphene Philius, Joshua Philius, Henry-Dominic Philius, Sherina Philius, Gessy Philius, Ashley Jean, Benedicte Philius, Sarah Philius, Analisa Philius, Noemie Philius; his sisters and brothers in law, Lovelyne, Rose-lore, Jamania, Kethlie, Marie-Yole, Ken Paul, Jean Hilaire, Louiner Musset, Romuald.
