Sidney "Discount" Robbins, Jr. was born on March, 9, 1935 in Screven County to the late Sidney and Sadie Mae Robbins, Sr. He departed this life on November 4, 2015 at 1:10PM at Broward Nursing Rehabilitation Center. He was united in holy matrimony to Ella Louise Joyce on November 1, 1958, together they were married for 57 blessed years. In which 5 kids were born, 1 daughter and 4 sons. He has 4 sisters and 5 brothers, and 1 great-grandchild preceded in his death. During his lifetime, Sidney worked as a roofer and owned his own business, known as Discount Roofing. He also worked as a custodian at Nova University. Sidney was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Sidney loved to go fishing with his sons and grandsons. Mr. Sidney Robbins, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Ella Louise Robbins, sister Minnie Lee Williams (Lauderdale Lakes), Shirley Grant (Atlanta, Ga); children: Eugene Robbins, Luther Robbins, Brenda Robbins-Wilson (James), Larry James Robbins (Inez), Micheal Robbins; grandchildren: Arthur Coddington, Charissa Robbins, Antwan Jackson, Tamara Jackson, Katrice Covington, Antwone Childs, Ashley Robbins, Michelle Robbins, Ezekiel Robbins, Shanna Gibbs, Rickell Williams, Ashley Derilus, Kaylah Derilus, Tyler Derilus and Josiah Derilus all of Fort Lauderdale; 21 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other loving relatives and dear friends.
