Patricia J. Ebardt Cooney, age 90, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, in Escambia County, Florida Mrs. Cooney was born August 11, 1926, to Albert and Lenora Ann (Herzog) Ebardt. Mrs. Cooney graduated from Mattoon High School, and was previously a resident of Cooks Mills. She and her Husband moved to Speedway, Indiana, in 1964; then she moved to Florida in 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H Cooney; son, Thomas H Cooney; her parents; one brother; and seven sisters. She is survived by two sons Mike (Peggy) Cooney Milton, Florida, and Richard (Patty) Cooney of Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Calvary Cemetery in Matoon, Illinois. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with local arrangements.Obituary
