Gregory Boyette

Gregory Quinn Boyette, 54, of Bardin, passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13 2016 at Putnam Community Medical Center. Born in Palatka, Greg was a lifelong resident of Putnam County. He was a truck driver in the logging industry and had worked with Pritchett Trucking for the past 4 years. He had previously worked with A.O. Baxley & Sons. Gregg was an avid Tampa Bay Bucs Fan and also enjoyed Radio Control cars, motorcycles and in years past mud-boggin. Greg also cherished time spent with his family and especially the grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Boyette and a brother, Kenny “Rollie Pollie” Boyette. Greg is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Boyette (Tonya) and Tyler Boyette (Amber), his grandkids, Raquel “Kel”, Noah and Natalie, his mother, Ruth Boyette, 2 brothers, Tom Boyette (Cindy) and Mickey Boyette, 2 sisters, Theresa Sweat (Bill) and Misti Davis (Steve) and lots of nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Services celebrating Greg’s life will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Rev. Glenn Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka. In honor of who Greg was, casual attire or Tampa Bay Bucs apparel would be appropriate and encouraged for his services.
