Louise V. Hutcheson, 83, of Palatka, passed from this life on Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home following a lengthy illness. A native of Coffee County, Georgia, she resided in Putnam County since 1952 coming from Coffee County. Louise worked as a wrapper Operator at Georgia Pacific for 32 years retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy where she enjoyed worshipping and spending time with her church family. Louise also enjoyed fishing in her leisure time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hutcheson, Sr., her parents, Dave and Inez Brantley Varnedore and a brother, Cecil Varnedore and his wife Doris. Louise is survived by 2 sons, Samuel Hutcheson, Jr. (Sherell) of Perry and Keith Hutcheson (Diane) of East Palatka, 2 daughters, Jeanette Hutcheson of Hortense, GA and Nadavah Ann McDonald of Palatka, a brother, Virgil Varnedore of Douglas, GA, a sister, Sarah Matson (Howard) of Palatka, 7 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren. Services celebrating Louise’s life will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Tom Harris and Pastor Derrell Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill East Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services at 3:00 P.M.
