Betty-Lou Pualani Deniz Leslie, 78, of Keaukaha, HI, passed away on November 25, 2016 at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Betty-Lou was born on April 28, 1938, in Honolulu, HI. She worked as a stenographer for the Hawaii Judiciary Court, retired as a housekeeper for Uncle Billy’s Hotel in Kona/ Hilo and was a homemaker. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary- Hilo (570 Kinoole St. Hilo, HI 96720). Visitation starts at 8:30am. Services start at 10:30am. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nanette Lynn “Sweetie” Leslie; She is survived by her son John (Maxine) Leslie of Keaukaha, HI; daughters Karen Pualani Leslie of Kapaa, Kauai, Sharon (Alan) “Sexy” Tavares of Keaau, HI and Betty-Ann “Suki” (Bobbie) Leslie of Hilo, HI; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
