James Jacobs

James M. “Jim” Jacobs, of Hoffman Estates, loving companion of Jean Berenson; beloved husband of the late Mari Jacobs. Jim is also survived by Jean’s family, Melinda (Jeff) Fine, Sharon (R.J.) Thibideau and Mitch (Stacey) Berenson, and their children Jonathan, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Eli, Lexi, Madeline and Allyssa. Jim will be dearly missed by his beloved cat, Justin, and his extended family and friends. Graveside service Tuesday, 12:30 p.m. at Randhill Cemetery, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights.
