Kendra Dawn Spradling, 44, of Murphysboro, passed away at 4:07 p.m. Friday, October, 14, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Kendra was born on December 30, 1971, in Murphysboro, to Kenneth Spradling and Karen (Casey) Spradling. She was a certified nurse's aide at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, and while she was working, she cared a great deal for each one of her patients. Miss Spradling was a member of the First Christian Church in Murphysboro. She is survived by her parents of Murphysboro; two sisters Patricia Roberts and her husband Dale Roberts, and Paula Spradling, all of Murphysboro, and one brother Larry Spradling and his wife Mary Spradling of Oklahoma City, OK; six nieces and four nephews that she considered her babies, Megan Wheeler and her husband Rylan Wheeler, Ashley Presley, Daniel Presley and his wife Brandy Presley, Brandi Ward, Paige Vanzant, Brandon Spradling, Kyra Smith and her husband Travis Smith, Gabrielle Spradling, Dylan Spradling, and Jacob Spradling; nine great nieces and seven great nephews; and her beloved dog Jazzy. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Christ Community Church in Murphysboro and burial at Worthen Cemetery.
